Risk Capital Club makes embroidered caps that say the quiet part out loud.
The things you say over dinner, then realize you probably shouldn’t have said quite so loudly.
Risk capital is money you can afford to lose. Our caps are about the same kind of bet: crypto, a second bottle, a very good dinner.
A little luck. A lot of nerve.
We make caps for people who understand the joke.
Embroidered, never printed
Every slogan is embroidered directly into the panel. The thread has weight, catches the light, and gives the lettering depth.
It takes longer. It costs more. We’re fine with that.
We wanted the words to feel like part of the cap, not something we’d stuck on afterward.
Drops, not a catalog
We make a small run, let it have its moment, and move on.
Some slogans are funny for three weeks. Some are funny for much longer. We try to know the difference.
No endless catalog. No twelve-page explanation of why the cap is ironic. Just a good cap and a good line.
New York City
Written here, shot here, worn here.
A lot of the slogans start with something overheard. A conversation at dinner. A remark in a taxi. Someone saying something with complete confidence that probably deserved less of it.
We write things down. Sometimes they become caps. Sometimes they stay in the notes app.
We like the city for that. The restaurants, the people, the very specific kind of person who knows the difference between a good table and a good table at the right time.
Risk Capital Club is a collection of those moments.
